I am so proud of my wife Jenny at lady-compassion.deviantart.com… She has been a member of deviant art for over 5 years. She has done all sorts of projects and made literally thousands of fractals.
Just wanted to inform all of mine and my wife's followers that she suffered a severe subdural hematoma on Halloween (Oct. 31st). There was a blood clot in her brain that was hemorrhaging. She had to have emergency, life-saving brain surgery. Afterwards, she was in a coma for the next 5 or 6 days and totally unresponsive.
Then, about 10 days ago, she woke up and started moving just a little bit. She is now in a long-term care facility, where she continues to recover slowly. She has now been taken off the ventilator and is breathing through a tracheal tube, on her own. She also has a feed tube in her stomach.
The next step is to wean her off the tracheal tube, so they can remove it. She has several months to go of recovery. This will be a very long healing process. But, she is improving daily. Please keep her and I in your thoughts and prayers.
If anyone wishes to help out financially, my sister has made a page for Jenny. I know she has helped so many on deviant art.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY!!!
UPDATE ON MY WIFE JENNY:
Jenny has been home for almost a month now. She has been continuing with physical therapy at home with Home Care, which comes out a couple times a week. She continues to get stronger and is able to do the 15 stairs to our apartment and has done them several times, as we have had quite a few follow-up doctor's appointments.
It is so great to have Jenny home for her birthday and Valentine's Day in a couple of days. It truly is a miraculous recovery, as she was as close to brain death, as one could possibly be!! Thanks for all the love, prayers, and support here on DA.
Anyone still wishing to aid in her recovery finan
Jenny's Continued Progress
My dear wife Jenny https://lady-compassion.deviantart.com/ has now spent the last 3 holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas) basically in the hospital. Since October 31st, she has not been home. She had a very successful 2nd brain surgery, with no sign of infection. She also has had the tracheal tube removed from her throat and the feed tube removed from her stomach.
She is beginning to walk with the walker and is now getting stronger each day. She walked a total of 150 feet, the past 2 days (to the gym and back)!! They are now beginning to work with her on steps. She is still very wobbly and needs to get better at steps, since we

10, 000 Page Views!!!
Oh my gosh...I never thought I would make this kind of a milestone here on Deviant Art. I am humbled, because I know there are so, so many much more deserving artists out there. I really joined DA 4 years ago because my wife lady-compassion.deviantart.com… was/ is such an active member. But, I became enthralled with so many various artists and art forms that I was hooked. Along the way I have submitted some of my poetry and even created some new works. But, I never expected this kind of response. I am so very grateful for every page view, watcher, fave and comment that I have received. I cherish each and every one!!! Thank you all!!!
