shattered
and my brain is like a clockwork;
but there's something in the gears
and they are sticking.
I could
a-a-a-a-ask
for some sort of repair but
my short-circuit voice-box
is out of date
and my creator-God is gone.
If only I could trade
these burnt out eyes for real ones,
and get myself some sort of heart
that wouldn't tick.
Let Me Down GentlyI never said I was an angel,
rather,
I'm a feather on its wing,
so when you let me drift
on the next western current,
let me fall slowly down,

Dear, I have nothing else to sayOh dear dear
How you are, now;
Elegant.
Form so sheer
Body bursting, today;
Prismatic.
My my dear
You're delightful, always;
Courageous.
Such a cheer
Mood of joy, bottomless;
Exuberant.
It's you dear
Who you are, lasting;
Adoration.
A Mirror's Unfortunate DreamThe mirror cracks
Into a million images
Seizing their every chance
To reflect scant naked souls
Uncaring eyes look away
For there's nothing to a reflection
Majestic views pass by entirely ignored
With millions of voices screaming to be heard
Mighty mazes in laid corridors
Every cranny hiding a new treasure
That seekers of loot can never pilfer
As they may never spot its major splendor
Countless worlds
With limitless fractures
Containing every potential place
Yet none bother to spare a simple glance
Utter rejection
Floods their halls in sorrow
For their story will never be trodden
And their presence shall be eternally forgotten

As long as I may dream...I have my days,
Where I get nothing done,
I don't want to breathe sometimes,
Because I don't want to accept mistakes.
I become too bitter to see the truth,
My pessimism brings me down,
All my fears cascade on me,
Until they become a reality.
But, I believe I can change,
I will be what I want to be,
It is never too late to hope,
To live.
I must see past this negativity,
To know my worry isn't true,
So I can move forwards,
As long as I may dream.

ApartmentFrom upstairs
she heard late afternoon
sucker punch the television
as the children
covered the coffee table
in dinner,
and felt the dust mop
weep in her hands
at the sight.
She found the cat
under a pile of laundry,
its head
swallowing a sock
and wondered why
bedtime took so long
to come around.
For sleep
was her only accomplice
in the simple murder
of this life -
buffering the weather in the kitchen
and choking the beds
like those last thoughts
left deep in the dustbin.
beautyand beauty just happens
if you will wait
long enough -
the sound of plants
breathing under the snow,
of red petals
and green leaves
bursting on the vine
and climbing up over the roof,
the sight of rain
washing the hillside -
a mosaic
on the window
and the scent
that buries the laundry,
fresh picked
from the line
on a june morning
and how it feels
on your skin
when you first wake up
lazy with the last dream
and how she tastes -
she tastes
supple and fragile,
something blooming
just for you.

24. LostI'm a searcher; I'm a dreamer,
I'm a fighter; I'm a screamer,
Wanna know me like I know me, when we
Wrestled in the snow; we
Raced around the track one time; we
Bought our love for a few dimes.
I'm a thinker; I'm a teacher,
I'm a writer; I'm a preacher,
And you know I'm all alone, you
Try to help me on your own, you
Try and tell me it's okay, but you
Are always pushed away.
I'm a speaker; I'm a leader,
I'm a lover; I'm a bleeder,
And I know I wanna know—I know I
Made myself my foe; I
Write to drown out all the pain, I
Search for my soul, but in vain.
26. The Elegance Of It AllHere we are, in the grand design.
Where we can reach out and touch the divine.
There's still loneliness here, and sorrow, and pain,
But with our ambition, we'll be its bane.
We'll soar to the sky with our wings interlaced,
Above all the troubles we've conquered and faced.
One hot and one cold; one fire, one ice,
And we are together—our enemy's vice.
The power we share lies all in the sun,
And although we tame it, it's trying to run.
Should it ever break free, we will quietly go
Leading our bodies with spirits in tow.
Until then, however, we'll keep it with might,
And contain our magic of shimmering light.
Eventually, though, all things must decline;
Such is the nature and horror of time.
All things will end, as will they must,
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
When comes our time, even we will fall,
And that is the elegance we find in it all.

On the edges of your lipsMy soul flickers back and forth in your presence
As I drag myself on the floor slowly, barely
I surrender to the voices promising your love
And the dream of  tomorrow bringing me your scent
You do not see me nor my fading shadow
I am right here, down here, take one look at me
I lay my wings over your shoulders, I take the rain for you
I kiss the flock of birds that flew over you
I swallow every thorn in your way, I turn your path blue
I hug every glimpse of fear in your eyes
I live on the edges of your lips, I steal every word you speak
I sleep between your ribs, I sing along with your heartbeat
I built my shrine between your palms, there,  I pray for your love
And yet, you do not see me nor my fading shadow
Your grip on my heart drying up every drop of life
But I will not leave,  if you tear me apart, I will love you
If you burn my dreams, cut my veins , I will love you
If you put out my candle, my golden sky, I will love you
If you rip your seed out o
My Rainbow bucketThe gentle touch of your lips on my cold forehead
The soft kiss on my  palms, and I wake up, I look at you
You say It's morning, you say you love me, then you leave
Do you know what you leave behind , It is not me
Now, the world is black and white, all is concrete and ugly
The walls are pure cement and sand, and open land
There are weeds growing on the bed, and I cannot leave
When the black shadow sits behind my back,
Watches, waits for me to move,
I will not move
It Keeps taking all the light,
It dims my hopes and breathes my air
I cannot look, I cannot pray, I cannot make a sound
I crawl in bed, my arms around my knees,
I wait for you
The day is almost dead, and now you are home
You take me in, you dip me in a big bucket of rainbow
You soak my every cell with every color that is
And I am me again, I can see again,
I can breathe again
And the black ugly shadow slips down
With his tiny wrinkled  hands, he runs in shame
Hides behind the door, waits for th

RendezvousAlone in the darkness she waits,
Shadows writhing just out of sight,
Sounds of the wind,
Moaning through the skeletal branches of the trees
The call of the owl as he hunts,
Piercing the solitude for a moment,
Quickly he moves on,
There is no hunting here tonight
Silently she rises,
Walking quickly,
It is time to go to her lover
So long they have been apart,
Her very soul left aching,
Aching to touch him once again
It seems like yesterday that they were parted,
She tries to remember how much time has passed,
It seems like a cruel dream now
Faster she walks,
She can almost see him,
Smell the soap he uses,
So clean, spicy,
Filling her nostrils
So caught up in her own world,
Engulfed by memories now,
She fails to discern the lingering scent of decay,
Cloying and sweet,
Surrounding her as she moves lightly over the fallen leaves
She reaches the place of their tryst,
Slowly dropping to the ground once more,
She hears him,
Moving over the leaves,
His footsteps heavy, slow,
Excitement builds w
